REBECCA GREENWELL WATHEN
Becca is marketer, creative, entrepeneuer, speaker, writer and former college athlete. She is a Strategic Partner Manager at Meta working with student-athletes focusing on NIL, former Duke Women's Basketball All-American & WNBA draftee. Originally from Owensboro, Kentucky, Becca currently resides in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband, Ben, son, George, and dog, Willow.
Becca is former All-American Duke Women's Basketball player & 2018 WNBA draftee to the Washington Mystics. She is the All-Time leader in career 3 pointers made at Duke and has won 2 gold medals and 1 bronze with USA Basketball. She is a former McDonald's All-American and was ranked #5 nationally in her recruiting class.
Becca has been featured on numerous podcasts & spoken on the topics of NIL, social media, athletics, overcoming adversity & life after sport on stage at the NIL Summit, NACDA, WBCA and 20+ universities & events around the country.
Becca is a Strategic Partner Manager at Meta leading partnerships with student-athletes and sports creators to maximize NIL & business opportunities across Instagram, Facebook & Meta’s suite of products.
She leads Meta's NIL Empower program and was named one of Business Insider’s 2022 “Rising Stars of the Creator Economy”.
